FC Ouagadougou National's Rene Vereijt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save FC Ouagadougou National from getting a goal against them. Rıza Vuralhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdulla Baia in the 7th minute of the match. Rıza Vuralhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jedrzej Kiszkiel in the 13th minute of play. Strömsbro IF's Emil Billing was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rene Vereijt in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Igor Bambas came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Strömsbro IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Bambas couldn't finish the play. Rene Vereijt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antti Ani in the 19th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Abdulla Baia notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Strömsbro IF's Rıza Vuralhan. Rıza Vuralhan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Igor Bambas took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Rene Vereijt to make any attempt to save it. Strömsbro IF's Rıza Vuralhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dani Rojas in the 36th minute of play. Strömsbro IF's Igor Bambas got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 47 minutes of play, FC Ouagadougou National's Abdulla Baia made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rıza Vuralhan was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half FC Ouagadougou National were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abdulla Baia to strike the kick off in the second half. When Igor Bambas came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Strömsbro IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Bambas couldn't finish the play. 56 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Rıza Vuralhan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sean Westelinx. In the 62nd minute, Igor Bambas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Strömsbro IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Igor Bambas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Strömsbro IF's Rıza Vuralhan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Strömsbro IF from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Igor Bambas in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rene Vereijt saved FC Ouagadougou National from getting behind. Rıza Vuralhan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abdulla Baia's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abdulla Baia got free with Rıza Vuralhan in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Strömsbro IF's Rıza Vuralhan got control of the ball when Abdulla Baia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rene Vereijt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Bambas in the 86th minute of the match. Rene Vereijt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Bambas in the 96th minute of play. The FC Ouagadougou National supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Ouagadougou National would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
