The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Chelmza Team's Waldemar Pawlik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erlantz Bermejo in the 5th minute of play. Chelmza Team's Zikri Eygül got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zhou Yan Feng scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maurino Serena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbigniew Boniek in the 11th minute of play. Waldemar Pawlik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erlantz Bermejo, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhou Yan Feng in the 25th minute of play. Waldemar Pawlik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emmanuel Otero in the 27th minute of play. Chelmza Team made a substitution. Marian Glembin replaced Zikri Eygül. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lu Yuan Yin in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maurino Serena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Belo Alvarez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Waldemar Pawlik made a huge save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lu Yuan Yin to strike the kick off in the second half. Maurino Serena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lu Yuan Yin's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Lu Yuan Yin struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Maurino Serena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chelmza Team. In the 58th minute, Nereo Acosta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, A.D. Alcorcón's Nereo Acosta got a free kick in the 59th minute. Lu Yuan Yin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maurino Serena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. After 64 played minutes A.D. Alcorcón got a freekick which was hit by Arcadio Ramiréz. Lu Yuan Yin struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Maurino Serena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chelmza Team. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Akif Ceceli in the 69th minute of play forced A.D. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Maurino Serena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, A.D. Alcorcón's Laurin Mangas got a free kick in the 74th minute. A.D. Alcorcón made a substitution. Eusebio Quijana replaced Natxo Cacheres. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Maurino Serena successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 90th minute of the match Emmanuel Otero shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Waldemar Pawlik showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mehmet Akif Ceceli got free with Maurino Serena in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maurino Serena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhou Yan Feng in the 95th minute of play. Marian Glembin's late challenge caught a A.D. Alcorcón's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marian Glembin helped the player get up and apologised. Marian Glembin kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Emmanuel Otero managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.D. Alcorcón's supporters rose to their feet, but Emmanuel Otero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Waldemar Pawlik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
