53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Sportivo Italiano's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sven-Ove Björkqvist was slow to take the kick. During this time Black Cloud FC's players had a chance to rest. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reynaldo Stephen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Stefan Motyl's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reynaldo Stephen was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. The supporters of Club Sportivo Italiano booed when Black Cloud FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romulo Cordarell didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Black Cloud FC had won after a very even match.
