A collision led to Leones FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Martin Asier hit a great ball. 5 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adalberto Quaresma came free, but Leopoldo Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilfredo Quinto struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Marcial Chabier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leones FC. 12 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Radomir Dranka came free, but Leopoldo Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Asier in the 14th minute of play forced Pituil FC's goalkeeper Marcial Chabier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilfredo Quinto got free with Marcial Chabier in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 17 minutes into the match, Pituil FC's goalkeeper Marcial Chabier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilfredo Quinto. After 18 played minutes Leones FC got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Florinio. Marcial Chabier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Quinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 26th minute, Martin Asier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Leones FC's Mariano Peyo got a free kick in the 28th minute. Leones FC's Leopoldo Lastur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Pedrosa in the 30th minute of play. Dario Gaizko's late challenge caught a Pituil FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dario Gaizko helped the player get up and apologised. Dario Gaizko kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Radomir Dranka scored 0-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leopoldo Lastur, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilfredo Quinto got free with Marcial Chabier in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 41 minutes into the game, Wilfredo Quinto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leones FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pituil FC the free kick. In the 41st match minute, Leones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Quinto to maneuver through the defense. Nicanor Florinio hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Radomir Dranka made a kick off. Leopoldo Lastur made an important save on a dangerous shot by Radomir Dranka in the 54th minute. Leopoldo Lastur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejandro Berdaitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 65th minute Radomir Dranka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Lastur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremias Cisco kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Leones FC's Leopoldo Lastur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Leones FC from getting a goal against them. 69 minutes into the match, Radomir Dranka notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Leones FC's Leopoldo Lastur. Leopoldo Lastur was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 72 minutes into the game, Pituil FC's Alejandro Berdaitz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leopoldo Lastur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Wilfredo Quinto hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Leones FC's Ignacio Cayo got a free kick in the 85th minute. Radomir Dranka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Leopoldo Lastur made a huge save. After 89 played minutes Leones FC got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Florinio. When Adalberto Quaresma came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Pituil FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adalberto Quaresma couldn't finish the play.
