In the 41st minute, Franco Bosch left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Ermengol Baena was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Argyris Zagorakis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Argyris Zagorakis really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Franco Bosch to strike the kick off in the second half. Argyris Zagorakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermengol Baena having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Franco Bosch's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kıvanç Yücesan was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Franco Bosch took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kıvanç Yücesan. The crowd rose to their feet as ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s Franco Bosch slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kıvanç Yücesan. That made the score 2-6 after 81 minutes of play. If Miguel Rodríguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kıvanç Yücesan was a little too slow when Franco Bosch got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 2-7. The SC Pfullendorf fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
