The audience was convinced that Franco Bosch's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Laçın Cumayev was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. When Quintino Carvalhais came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the SC Braga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Quintino Carvalhais couldn't finish the play. SC Braga's Laçın Cumayev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franco Bosch in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute of the match ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► got a corner. SC Braga's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 96 minutes into the match, ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s Franco Bosch sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Laçın Cumayev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
