Kıvanç Yücesan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loco Durazno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 25 minutes of play, SC Pfullendorf's Argyris Zagorakis made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anders Lundqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 31st minute Loco Durazno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kıvanç Yücesan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kıvanç Yücesan made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Bebben Johansson sent off a good shot on target. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Loco Durazno made the kick off in the second half. Anders Lundqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kong Guo Chong in the 51st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loco Durazno in the 53rd minute of play forced SC Pfullendorf's goalkeeper Kıvanç Yücesan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel Rodríguez really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. After a rather tough play, SC Pfullendorf's Mario Galnares got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Although Golden Lions FC had been in control for most of the match, SC Pfullendorf still came away with the win.
