The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Iordanis Kopanakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmar Berenguer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manolis Kalergis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Delmar Berenguer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iordanis Kopanakis. Seahawks V55's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Delmar Berenguer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manolis Kalergis in the 15th minute of play forced Hahay's goalkeeper Aigeus Milionis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute Manolis Kalergis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aigeus Milionis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Seahawks V55's goal looked a bit too open when Delmar Berenguer came free, but Iordanis Kopanakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hahay's Gökmen Parshan quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Giannis Nekos, made in the 26th minute of the game. After 27 played minutes Hahay got a freekick which was hit by Waldemar Banaszak. After 29 played minutes Seahawks V55 got a freekick which was hit by Thanos Ntaloukas. In the 32nd minute, Steve Gerrard left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hahay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The audience was convinced that Steve Gerrard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iordanis Kopanakis was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Iordanis Kopanakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmar Berenguer in the 44th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Delmar Berenguer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Iordanis Kopanakis came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Hahay's Delmar Berenguer. But to his dismay, Delmar Berenguer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Hahay made a substitution. Konrad Hatman replaced Emil Kordalewski. After 68 played minutes Hahay got a freekick which was hit by Wawrzyniec Lewandowski. 73 minutes into the match, Seahawks V55's goal looked a bit too open when Delmar Berenguer came free, but Iordanis Kopanakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Delmar Berenguer took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Iordanis Kopanakis to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Hahay booed when Seahawks V55 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ntinos Papachronakos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Seahawks V55's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Wawrzyniec Lewandowski scored to the left of an out of position Iordanis Kopanakis, making the score, 0-8. Konrad Hatman kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Hahay's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
