The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Digital Monsterz FC's Isak Jacobsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Valentine in the 2nd minute of play. 4 minutes into the match, Yala's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Heidemann came free, but Zeledon Curcio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zeledon Curcio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Heidemann, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Zeledon Curcio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leandro Heidemann went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 11 minutes into the match, Yala's goal looked a bit too open when Anıl Özkut came free, but Zeledon Curcio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute Anıl Özkut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Curcio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute, Leandro Heidemann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zeledon Curcio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Zeledon Curcio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Heidemann in the 16th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Yala's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Heidemann came free, but Zeledon Curcio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Digital Monsterz FC's Anıl Özkut in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After the first half Digital Monsterz FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Freddy Valentine stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Anıl Özkut got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isak Jacobsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Valentine in the 53rd minute of the match. Yala were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Digital Monsterz FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Raimundo Frans took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Digital Monsterz FC's goalie and right to Edwin Söderberg. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Digital Monsterz FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. With a little luck, Yala's Zeledon Curcio got control of the ball when Anıl Özkut tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zeledon Curcio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anıl Özkut in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute, Santiago Feo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 61st minute by Birger Spetz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Digital Monsterz FC were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Yala's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Birger Spetz took the corner. Isak Jacobsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Valentine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, Leandro Heidemann notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Yala's Zeledon Curcio. Zeledon Curcio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Yala's Zeledon Curcio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Heidemann in the 73rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leandro Heidemann in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeledon Curcio saved Yala from getting behind. Zeledon Curcio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leandro Heidemann's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Leandro Heidemann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zeledon Curcio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Heidemann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 80 played minutes Yala got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Pinto. With an all-out effort, Digital Monsterz FC's Zeledon Curcio threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leandro Heidemann, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Anıl Özkut could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Zeledon Curcio made a huge save. Zeledon Curcio came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Digital Monsterz FC's Leandro Heidemann. But to his dismay, Leandro Heidemann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Yala's Zeledon Curcio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Yala from getting a goal against them. When the match was over Digital Monsterz FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Yala throughout the match.
