Big Benne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lee Kerr having to interfere. Diablos Rojos's Samuel Stabbe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ashley Gardiner in the 30th minute of play. Brendon Bale made in the 33rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Calum Frost. 37 minutes into the match, Diablos Rojos's goal looked a bit too open when Cumhur Tanacan came free, but Samuel Stabbe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute Ashley Gardiner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Stabbe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diablos Rojos were furious when Eulalio Gar was red carded, 47 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Diablos Rojos fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! Ulysses Madureira shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Big Benne made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Clapham Comets F.C.'s Cumhur Tanacan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Samuel Stabbe. That made the score 1-2 after 59 minutes of play. Ulysses Madureira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Samuel Stabbe made a huge save. Samuel Stabbe made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Cumhur Tanacan sent off a good shot on target. In the 98th minute, Ulysses Madureira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Samuel Stabbe was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. When the final whistle sounded Clapham Comets F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Diablos Rojos.
