The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The goal made the score 4-1. 78 minutes into the match, KoLiber's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro de Moraes came free, but Miromir Rydzewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Lobo Guará's Ciro de Moraes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miromir Rydzewski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lobo Guará's Sandrinho Machado managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Edmundo Cavalcante in the 84 minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Ciro de Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lobo Guará's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciro de Moraes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miromir Rydzewski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Miromir Rydzewski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ciro de Moraes went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Willian Caca-Rato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Miromir Rydzewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ciro de Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lobo Guará's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
