Naldo Roig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. If Ezequiel Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Pereira in the 18th minute of play forced Picanya FC's goalkeeper Naldo Roig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emilio Ramone kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Lobo Guará's Emilio Ramone sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Naldo Roig narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henric Villaquiran stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Picanya FC fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Picanya FC's Gaskon Gimeno looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 76th minute, Ciro de Moraes made a precise shot to the right of Naldo Roig. Picanya FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 82 minutes into the match, Lobo Guará's goal looked a bit too open when Gregory Bermejo came free, but Daniel Anaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee ignored Picanya FC's protests and gave Gregory Bermejo a yellow card for diving instead. Naldo Roig was a little too slow when Ciro de Moraes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 1-3. The Picanya FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Lobo Guará's performance. The match ended with a win for Lobo Guará.
