Augusto Riso hit a great ball. In the 11th minute, Pavol Stano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rogério Mitovski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fitz Lambley in the 15th minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Augusto Riso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by San Mauro A Mare FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Noel Broom was slow to take the kick. During this time Garlic Eaters's players had a chance to rest. Garlic Eaters's Tommy Hanley was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rogério Mitovski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 30 played minutes San Mauro A Mare FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Hastings. After a defensive mix-up in San Mauro A Mare FC's zone, Noel Broom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rogério Mitovski came out of the goal and Noel Broom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rogério Mitovski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerry Cheeseman in the 35th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerry Cheeseman in the 39th minute of play forced San Mauro A Mare FC's goalkeeper Rogério Mitovski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nikolay Bonkov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Levent Hicran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from İbrahim Efe Altunbaş in the 42nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by San Mauro A Mare FC's Francesco Cremonese. In the 45th minute, Levent Hicran made a precise shot to the right of Nikolay Bonkov. Garlic Eaters's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fitz Lambley stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nikolay Bonkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Levent Hicran in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Garlic Eaters's İbrahim Efe Altunbaş got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Garlic Eaters's Greg Gavan was substituted for Fitz Lambley. Garlic Eaters's Justin Collingwood was substituted for Noel Broom. San Mauro A Mare FC made a substitution. Dinu Dobre replaced Francesco Cremonese. İbrahim Efe Altunbaş hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Garlic Eaters's zone, Levent Hicran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nikolay Bonkov came out of the goal and Levent Hicran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rogério Mitovski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Greg Gavan in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute, Fan Liang Chong got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. San Mauro A Mare FC's Mario Jardeløv was substituted for Levent Hicran. In the 76th minute Mario Jardeløv shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikolay Bonkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute of the match, Greg Gavan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rogério Mitovski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 86th minute Mario Jardeløv shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikolay Bonkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Jardeløv in the 87th minute of play forced Garlic Eaters's goalkeeper Nikolay Bonkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 89 minutes of play, San Mauro A Mare FC's Mario Jardeløv made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nikolay Bonkov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nikolay Bonkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Jardeløv, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Pavol Stano charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pavol Stano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 94 played minutes Garlic Eaters got a freekick which was hit by Pavol Stano. Greg Gavan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Rogério Mitovski made a huge save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Garlic Eaters players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for San Mauro A Mare FC.
