In the 9th minute Cyprian Oliszewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gianluigi Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gianluigi Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaroslaw Maurycy in the 12th minute of play. Oliver Kan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Atilla Bumin Hızlan in the 19th minute. Gianluigi Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cyprian Oliszewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, Cyprian Oliszewski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gianluigi Buffon. Defensores del Tiki Tiki's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cyprian Oliszewski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. If Atilla Bumin Hızlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cyprian Oliszewski to strike the kick off in the second half. Gianluigi Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaroslaw Maurycy in the 57th minute of play. Oliver Kan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Oliver Kan was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Defensores del Tiki Tiki fans cheered their team off the field, for while ORIZABA F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
