Cirilo Eliu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Maurício Monsanto hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Cirilo Eliu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christoforos Manousopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. NIKE Academy's Ola Wall proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save NIKE Academy from getting a goal against them. Cirilo Eliu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lu Lin in the 41st minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Maurício Monsanto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Kader Gonet managed to get in a good position for a shot. NIKE Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Kader Gonet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cirilo Eliu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

NIKE Academy made a substitution. Oskar Lägdin replaced Robert Mühren. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christoforos Manousopoulos was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Justicialista FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Ariel Joey hit a great ball.
