After 12 played minutes MKS MŁAWA got a freekick which was hit by Izydor Snaza. After a defensive mix-up in FC Steaua Pildesti's zone, Zenon Danisiewicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marian Văduvescu came out of the goal and Zenon Danisiewicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Augustin Nechifor hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. If Nicolae Barbu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Steaua Pildesti's Marian Văduvescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zenon Danisiewicz in the 22nd minute of play. After having played for 24 minutes, Zygmunt Dunajski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Steaua Pildesti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zygmunt Dunajski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lucjan Sidorowicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filip Paulescu in the 25th minute. The supporters of MKS MŁAWA booed when FC Steaua Pildesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nistor Costandache didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marian Văduvescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zenon Danisiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute Karol Turak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Văduvescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, FC Steaua Pildesti's goal looked a bit too open when Karol Turak came free, but Marian Văduvescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karol Turak in the 40th minute of play forced FC Steaua Pildesti's goalkeeper Marian Văduvescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Zygmunt Dunajski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zenon Danisiewicz was the one to do the kick off. When Atilano Dunixi fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MKS MŁAWA's protests and gave Atilano Dunixi a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, MKS MŁAWA's Aureliusz Wieczorek got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 96th minute of the match Benedykt Zakrzewski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marian Văduvescu skillfully saved the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
