The Izaltina FAD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Alves should have stopped the shot. Manuel Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriele Batistuta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabriele Batistuta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manuel Alves having to make a save. Manuel Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriele Batistuta, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The wind increased when Gabriele Batistuta made the kick off in the second half. Menchu FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. Patrik Gribfeldt helped the player get up and apologised. In the 76th minute, Patrik Gribfeldt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Izaltina FAD made a substitution. Menchu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriele Batistuta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 91st minute, Gabriele Batistuta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Menchu FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Camilo Salvidor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matías Mendes, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The corner ended in Benito Lain almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Menchu FC's Camilo Salvidor did a great save. The Izaltina FAD supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Menchu FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Menchu FC.
