But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peter Söderqwist couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ilie Baican during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 10th minute Gabriele Batistuta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gianluigi Donnarumma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 10 minutes of play, Menchu FC's Gabriele Batistuta made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gianluigi Donnarumma was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriele Batistuta in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gianluigi Donnarumma prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Majachun's Alfred Pankowski in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Menchu FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Gabriele Batistuta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriele Batistuta in the 23rd minute of play forced Majachun's goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Majachun's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lucas Martínez Quarta was slow to take the kick. During this time Menchu FC's players had a chance to rest. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Majachun:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Menchu FC:s goal. Majachun:s Gianluigi Donnarumma showed great skill when he stopped Lucas Martínez Quarta:s penalty. After 28 minutes of play, Menchu FC's Lucas Martínez Quarta made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gabriele Batistuta might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gianluigi Donnarumma. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabriele Batistuta ran back to his position shaking his head. Gabriele Batistuta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gianluigi Donnarumma read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Gianluigi Donnarumma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriele Batistuta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd match minute, Menchu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Carlo to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Remigiusz Cisek to strike the kick off in the second half. Tomas Cordaryal's late challenge caught a Majachun's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomas Cordaryal helped the player get up and apologised. Tomas Cordaryal kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Menchu FC made a substitution. Silverio Sergi replaced Armando Roland. A collision led to Menchu FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Tomas Cordaryal hit a great ball. Gianluigi Donnarumma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriele Batistuta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 91 in the game by Gabriele Batistuta from a close distance when the talented Gianluigi Donnarumma managed to make a qualified save. Majachun's players were relieved. Ilie Baican kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The Majachun supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Menchu FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Menchu FC.
