The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gabriele Batistuta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Manuel Alves made a huge save. In the 6th minute Menchu FC were awarded a corner. Lucas Martínez Quarta went to the cornerflag to take it. Camilo Salvidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Angelsø, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Matías Mendes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute Well-Well Waack shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Salvidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute Izaltina FAD were awarded a corner. Benito Lain went to the cornerflag to take it. Benito Lain made a great header on Izaltina FAD's corner, it was just that Menchu FC's Camilo Salvidor managed to reach the ball for a save. 27 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Well-Well Waack came free, but Camilo Salvidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Izaltina FAD defense, Gabriele Batistuta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Alves. The Izaltina FAD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Alves should have stopped the shot. Peter Söderqwist kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Manuel Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriele Batistuta in the 38th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Izaltina FAD's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriele Batistuta came free, but Manuel Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 53rd minute, Gabriele Batistuta made a precise shot to the right of Manuel Alves. Izaltina FAD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Matías Mendes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Camilo Salvidor made a huge save. Camilo Salvidor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Well-Well Waack, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Manuel Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdoulay Doucouré, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Menchu FC's Camilo Salvidor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Menchu FC from getting a goal against them. Manuel Alves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gabriele Batistuta went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Menchu FC made a substitution. Primitivo Rocendo replaced Uriel Gorri. Primitivo Rocendo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, William Magalhães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute, Lucas Martínez Quarta sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Izaltina FAD's Manuel Alves didn't even have to move. For all the effort they put into the match, the Izaltina FAD players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Menchu FC.
