In the 10th minute, David Forsberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramon Pueblo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Patrik Sikström having to make a save. Patrik Sikström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Pueblo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Big Hands proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB from getting a goal against them. In the 22ndth minute of the game Ramon Pueblo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Seterma Tractors's Patrik Sikström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With an all-out effort, Seterma Tractors's Big Hands threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ademir Tande, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Patrik Sikström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ramon Pueblo went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ramon Pueblo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Big Hands took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nilton de Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramon Pueblo in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patrik Sikström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38th match minute, Seterma Tractors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Bauza to maneuver through the defense. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Seterma Tractors's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cirilo Arlo was slow to take the kick. During this time BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's players had a chance to rest. Big Hands made an important save on a dangerous shot by Acácio Santana in the 44th minute. Patrik Sikström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Pueblo, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Ramon Pueblo made the kick off in the second half. Patrik Sikström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Pueblo in the 51st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Ramon Pueblo took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Patrik Sikström to make any attempt to save it. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramon Pueblo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 91 minutes into the game, Seterma Tractors's Ademir Tande nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Big Hands made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5.
