The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ersen Bumba scored 0-1 in the 2nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pompiliu Zmărăndescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, FC Brink's Jerry Priest got a free kick in the 6th minute. If Ersen Bumba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ersen Bumba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pompiliu Zmărăndescu having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ersen Bumba in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pompiliu Zmărăndescu saved FC Brink from getting behind. Pompiliu Zmărăndescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ersen Bumba in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Romeo Balint hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pompiliu Zmărăndescu came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's Ersen Bumba. But to his dismay, Ersen Bumba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Miroslaw Majorski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pompiliu Zmărăndescu having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldemar Mule in the 32nd minute of play forced ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's goalkeeper Carlos Baptista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Jair Bostan in the 35th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's Kai-Christian Maletz. After 37 played minutes FC Brink got a freekick which was hit by Jerry Priest. Pompiliu Zmărăndescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ersen Bumba in the 40th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, FC Brink's goal looked a bit too open when Ersen Bumba came free, but Pompiliu Zmărăndescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Erdeniz Karadeniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's Ersen Bumba in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Brink's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
If Daniel Rives had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pompiliu Zmărăndescu came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's Miroslaw Majorski. But to his dismay, Miroslaw Majorski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ersen Bumba in the 58th minute of play forced FC Brink's goalkeeper Pompiliu Zmărăndescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ersen Bumba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Brink fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Pompiliu Zmărăndescu, was totally fooled by ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's Hüseyin Turan Yalazan, who 66 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Ersen Bumba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A sloppy throw-in by Jair Bostan in the 77th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's Erman Kayıhan. 80 minutes into the game, Romeo Balint was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Brink's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ the free kick. After 80 played minutes FC Brink got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Balint. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ersen Bumba in the 81st minute of play forced FC Brink's goalkeeper Pompiliu Zmărăndescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pompiliu Zmărăndescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ersen Bumba in the 83rd minute of the match. Ersen Bumba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pompiliu Zmărăndescu having to make a save. Jerry Priest made in the 88th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Răzvan Mumuleanu however managed to control. Ersen Bumba might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pompiliu Zmărăndescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ersen Bumba ran back to his position shaking his head. If Ersen Bumba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pompiliu Zmărăndescu came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's Ersen Bumba. But to his dismay, Ersen Bumba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. The supporters of FC Brink booed when ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Burak Demirsoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Răzvan Mumuleanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
