After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Prospero Jerardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Errecaborda AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Prospero Jerardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucio Afonso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lucio Afonso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emílio Terra in the 20th minute of play. Antonio Bernard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Edmond Verdun made a huge save. In the 23rd minute TALLERES DE CBA were awarded a corner. Ronaldo Pika went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 24th minute Mauro Rameriz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucio Afonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joe Tate in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucio Afonso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Bernard in the 31st minute of play forced Errecaborda AFC's goalkeeper Edmond Verdun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucio Afonso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pastor Ado in the 38th minute of the match. Aírton Urbano hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Edmond Verdun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Pika in the 45th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antonio Bernard to make the kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauro Rameriz couldn't finish the play. When Julian Maidana fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TALLERES DE CBA's protests and gave Julian Maidana a yellow card for diving instead. Edmond Verdun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Bernard in the 85th minute of play. The long shot by Pastor Ado in the 94th minute really tested Lucio Afonso's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The TALLERES DE CBA supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Errecaborda AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Errecaborda AFC.
