In the 39th minute of the match Astral got a corner. Wariatów Kupa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Roch Kochniarczyk ran over to the corner to take the kick. Fabian Hludzenski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Osvaldinho Lewandowski's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Osvaldinho Lewandowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute Fidel Blunt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klaas Dejonghe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvaldinho Lewandowski spun around in front of the goal 61 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Astral's goal. In the 72ndth minute of the game Osvaldinho Lewandowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Astral's Fabian Hludzenski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Klaas Dejonghe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roch Kochniarczyk in the 74th minute of play. A collision led to Wariatów Kupa getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Osvaldinho Lewandowski hit a great ball. In the 79th minute Osvaldinho Lewandowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Hludzenski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
