Ambrosio Goito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaden Hutton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emilio Quin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Ambrosio Goito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, MARTHA Rossoneri Boldklub's Loui Lintlav sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arsenio Cordeal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the MARTHA Rossoneri Boldklub defense, Valentin Vergaray kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ambrosio Goito. The MARTHA Rossoneri Boldklub fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ambrosio Goito should have stopped the shot. 33 minutes into the match, MARTHA Rossoneri Boldklub's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Vergaray came free, but Ambrosio Goito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, MARTHA Rossoneri Boldklub's goal looked a bit too open when Aaden Hutton came free, but Ambrosio Goito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MARTHA Rossoneri Boldklub's Tobias Galeno was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arsenio Cordeal in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Dobrilo Zečević received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Arsenio Cordeal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Plebeyos were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Otto Lintlav made the kick off in the second half. MARTHA Rossoneri Boldklub's Loui Lintlav got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Plebeyos's Gilberto Gizon was substituted for Emilio Quin. Ambrosio Goito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kåre Uter in the 90th minute of play. When Valentin Vergaray came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Plebeyos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentin Vergaray couldn't finish the play. When the match was over Plebeyos could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than MARTHA Rossoneri Boldklub throughout the match.
