Seyhan Atlıhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petrică Cândreanu in the 12th minute of the match. Seyhan Atlıhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils-Emil Hansson in the 14th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Iulian Pietreanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Seyhan Atlıhan was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Formentera were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Silverio Napier took the corner. Silverio Napier made a great header on Formentera's corner, it was just that FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Baldomiro Txindoki managed to reach the ball for a save. Baldomiro Txindoki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Domingo Urki in the 31st minute. Formentera's attentive Amador Modestio managed to snatch the ball when Mariano Jordy made a throw-in in the 32nd minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilson Arósio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Formentera's goalkeeper Seyhan Atlıhan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Petrică Cândreanu. Baldomiro Txindoki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernan Chus in the 59th minute of the match. After 61 minutes of play, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Wilson Arósio made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Seyhan Atlıhan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eustaquio Bartuelo kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Baldomiro Txindoki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingo Urki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silverio Napier made a great header on Formentera's corner, it was just that FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Baldomiro Txindoki managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilson Arósio got free with Seyhan Atlıhan in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wilson Arósio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Seyhan Atlıhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89thth minute of the game Domingo Urki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Baldomiro Txindoki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
