The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Edoardo Meo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Kiran Tomasini to make any attempt to save it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorge Luna in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Bonelli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. THE ROKERY PIMKIS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alessandro Finotti in the 11th minute. Alessandro Finotti made a great header on THE ROKERY PIMKIS's corner, it was just that Sorci Viola's Armando Bonelli managed to reach the ball for a save. Armando Bonelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Luna in the 12th minute of play. A collision led to Sorci Viola getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Bruno Egidi hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Luna in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Bonelli saved Sorci Viola from getting behind. Armando Bonelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Luna in the 25th minute of the match. Sorci Viola's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alessandro Finotti ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Sorci Viola's goalie and right to Neil Dussling. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Sorci Viola's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 33rd minute Francisco Mino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Bonelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute, Jorge Luna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The THE ROKERY PIMKIS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sorci Viola's goalkeeper Armando Bonelli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to THE ROKERY PIMKIS getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Howard Archambault hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the match, Sorci Viola's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Luna came free, but Armando Bonelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the THE ROKERY PIMKIS defense, Cesare Loreto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kiran Tomasini. The THE ROKERY PIMKIS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kiran Tomasini should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Armando Bonelli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. THE ROKERY PIMKIS's Nicasio Koldobika was substituted for Christian Mastroiacovo. Matthias Lepage came free with the goalkeeper in the 70th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Armando Bonelli could save by the left post. Armando Bonelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Luna, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute.
