After 20 minutes of play, Porteño Prowess FC's Enrico Barreneche made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Breno Costa was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 24th minute Enrico Barreneche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Breno Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Breno Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltasar Innocenzio in the 29th minute of the match. After 29 minutes, Wanderson Simão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sandinense ADF and the Porteño Prowess FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sandinense ADF getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Wanderson Simão hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, Sandinense ADF's goal looked a bit too open when Enrico Barreneche came free, but Breno Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Breno Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrico Barreneche, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enrico Barreneche in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Breno Costa saved Sandinense ADF from getting behind. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sandinense ADF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Boris Mikaelsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Porteño Prowess FC's players had a chance to rest. Sanderson Cabeleira made in the 47th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Porteño Prowess FC's Nunez Bidun. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 47th minute of the game. One of Sandinense ADF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Porteño Prowess FC:s goal. The referee gave Porteño Prowess FC a penalty, 48 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Enrico Barreneche, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sandinense ADF's Breno Costa. 0-3. Porteño Prowess FC's Dobromir Przybylo was substituted for Alberto Ocomardia. After the first half Porteño Prowess FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Burak Özdoğan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Breno Costa was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Enrico Barreneche capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Enrico Barreneche really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Enrico Barreneche's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Breno Costa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Porteño Prowess FC's Villarreal Ubach was substituted for Enrico Barreneche. Porteño Prowess FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Boris Mikaelsson in the 69th minute. After taking down the ball on Porteño Prowess FC's corner Villarreal Ubach fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Breno Costa quite easily take care of the ball. Sandinense ADF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. In the 89th minute Villarreal Ubach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Breno Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
