A hard shot 5 in the game by Darwin Núñez from a close distance when the talented Federico Fe managed to make a qualified save. Trapiche's players were relieved. Darwin Núñez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Federico Fe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Trapiche's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Urtsin came free, but Federico Fe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13thth minute of the game Domingo Jago who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trapiche's Federico Fe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Domingo Jago put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Federico Fe. In the 17th minute Rupert Longden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Llorienzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Merengue FC's Mateo Llorienzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Modestio in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saverio Osasun in the 20th minute of play forced Merengue FC's goalkeeper Mateo Llorienzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mateo Llorienzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saverio Osasun in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Frances in the 22nd minute of play forced Trapiche's goalkeeper Federico Fe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Trapiche's goalie and right to Ismael Frances. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Trapiche's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 25th minute Aquiles Urtsin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Fe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mateo Llorienzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rupert Longden in the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Urtsin in the 34th minute of play forced Trapiche's goalkeeper Federico Fe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hugo Itzaina in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mateo Llorienzo saved Merengue FC from getting behind. In the 36thth minute of the game Feliciano Porfiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Merengue FC's Mateo Llorienzo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Merengue FC's Raimundo Gonsalvo got a free kick in the 36th minute. Saverio Osasun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Llorienzo having to interfere. Ismael Frances blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Federico Fe having to make a save. In the 41st match minute, Trapiche was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliciano Porfiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute, Domingo Jago got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Darwin Núñez took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Federico Fe. Federico Fe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aquiles Urtsin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Domingo Jago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Fe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Trapiche booed when Merengue FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Frances didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Darwin Núñez sped through Trapiche's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Federico Fe. Feliciano Porfiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rafael Modestio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mateo Llorienzo came out and tried to block the shot, but Rafael Modestio slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 69th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saverio Osasun got free with Mateo Llorienzo in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Merengue FC booed when Trapiche was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saverio Osasun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Federico Fe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aquiles Urtsin's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. After 82 minutes, Aquiles Urtsin made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Trapiche's Federico Fe tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Merengue FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
