Tomas Brandt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Szilveszter Szegh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Higinio Sansone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Jean-Luc Picard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Brandt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubens Prata in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Alianza Trujillo's goal looked a bit too open when Rubens Prata came free, but Tomas Brandt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aldo Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Alianza Trujillo's Cayetano Montez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Higinio Sansone narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Rubens Prata sped through Alianza Trujillo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tomas Brandt. After the first half Nina fc were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 83rd minute Marcelito Vivar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Sansone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
