Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 5thth minute of the game Matias Bilintx who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Renacer del Quijano FC's Tomas Snow was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomas Snow came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting de Gijón's Matias Bilintx. But to his dismay, Matias Bilintx quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Teobaldo Ubarna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Óscar Cordoba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Teobaldo Ubarna reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Óscar Cordoba. The goal made the score 1-1. If Matias Bilintx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teobaldo Ubarna might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Óscar Cordoba. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teobaldo Ubarna ran back to his position shaking his head. Leandro Laurentzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teobaldo Ubarna in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Óscar Cordoba prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomas Snow made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Curcio in the 26th minute of play. After 29 played minutes El Renacer del Quijano FC got a freekick which was hit by Koit Einasto. In the 31stth minute of the game Teobaldo Ubarna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting de Gijón's Óscar Cordoba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Teobaldo Ubarna dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Óscar Cordoba, 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Bilintx in the 41st minute of play forced El Renacer del Quijano FC's goalkeeper Tomas Snow to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Snow made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Bilintx in the 45th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teobaldo Ubarna made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Ubarna in the 51st minute of play forced Sporting de Gijón's goalkeeper Óscar Cordoba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Sporting de Gijón's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Ubarna came free, but Óscar Cordoba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Óscar Cordoba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Ubarna in the 58th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Ubarna in the 59th minute of play forced Sporting de Gijón's goalkeeper Óscar Cordoba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jakob Friberger's late challenge caught a Sporting de Gijón's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jakob Friberger helped the player get up and apologised. Sporting de Gijón's Wayne Rooney was substituted for Alejandro Rufo. After a rather tough play, El Renacer del Quijano FC's Jakob Friberger got a free kick in the 64th minute. Óscar Cordoba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobaldo Ubarna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute El Renacer del Quijano FC were awarded a corner. Peneios Protopsaltis went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Peneios Protopsaltis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sporting de Gijón's Óscar Cordoba did a great save. If Venancio Emesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Sporting de Gijón's Matias Bilintx slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tomas Snow. That made the score 3-2 after 76 minutes of play. Sporting de Gijón made a substitution. Mario Zanabria replaced Venancio Emesto. After 82 minutes of play, El Renacer del Quijano FC's Teobaldo Ubarna made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Óscar Cordoba was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 85th minute, Sporting de Gijón's Diego Maradona dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-3. 89 minutes in the game, Diego Maradona dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Tomas Snow made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Wayne Rooney sent off a good shot on target. After 92 played minutes Sporting de Gijón got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Feo. The El Renacer del Quijano FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
