The corner ended in Nicanor Salvino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sporting de Gijón's Óscar Cordoba did a great save. The El Renacer del Quijano FC fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when El Renacer del Quijano FC's Nicanor Salvino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Sporting de Gijón getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Carlo Crema hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the match, Teobaldo Ubarna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Óscar Cordoba. Sporting de Gijón's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teobaldo Ubarna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Sporting de Gijón's Óscar Cordoba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Ubarna in the 15th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Teobaldo Ubarna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Óscar Cordoba was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. 25 minutes into the match, Teobaldo Ubarna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Óscar Cordoba. Óscar Cordoba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomas Snow took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Maradona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niceto Dominix hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half El Renacer del Quijano FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matias Bilintx was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Ubarna in the 58th minute of play forced Sporting de Gijón's goalkeeper Óscar Cordoba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the game, Eustacio Loiola threw the ball into play from the sideline. El Renacer del Quijano FC's Koit Einasto quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 67 played minutes El Renacer del Quijano FC got a freekick which was hit by Kalin Golubarev. Gabriel Diaz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tomas Snow. El Renacer del Quijano FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gabriel Diaz's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Tomas Snow - 1-3 was put on the score board in the 68th minute. Tomas Snow showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Bilintx in the 76th minute of the match. Sporting de Gijón's Óscar Cordoba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Ubarna in the 77th minute of play. Sporting de Gijón's Atilano Feo was substituted for Carlo Crema. 88 minutes into the match, El Renacer del Quijano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Maradona came free, but Tomas Snow reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sporting de Gijón's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gabriel Diaz in the 90th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Atilano Feo heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 92 minutes into the match, Mario Zanabria notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of El Renacer del Quijano FC's Tomas Snow. Tomas Snow was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tomas Snow showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Bilintx in the 95th minute of the match. Tomas Snow didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matias Bilintx went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. El Renacer del Quijano FC made a substitution. Ádám Páncsics replaced Nunez Maurin. Sporting de Gijón were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
