Malcolm Stenman started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Deportivo Turro's goalkeeper Germán Luz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zé Carlos Monteiro. The crowd rose to their feet as Jenipapo SC's Aníbal Alagoano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Germán Luz. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. Jenipapo SC's David Seaman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malcolm Stenman in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Baron Yu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Seaman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Jenipapo SC's Arsenio Gipuzkoa broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With his leg Germán Luz managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Jenipapo SC's Aníbal Alagoano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Germán Luz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aníbal Alagoano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 35 minute of play. In the 38th minute Malcolm Stenman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Seaman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute, Malcolm Stenman made a precise shot to the right of David Seaman. Jenipapo SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1.

The wind increased when Aníbal Alagoano made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Deportivo Turro booed when Jenipapo SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arcan Siralp didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Aníbal Alagoano put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Germán Luz. 63 minutes into the game, Raphael Cunha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Germán Luz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Deportivo Turro's Pedrinho Moreira was substituted for Wilton Queirós. In the 68th minute of the game Arcan Siralp made a throw-in which Raphael Cunha played forward. Deportivo Turro's Germán Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Junior in the 74th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Turro's Cipriano Urko got a free kick in the 76th minute. Germán Luz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raphael Cunha went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Jenipapo SC's David Seaman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Ponc in the 82nd minute of play. If Vinicio Junior had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zdzislaw Maurycy hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aníbal Alagoano in the 95th minute of play forced Deportivo Turro's goalkeeper Germán Luz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Jenipapo SC fully deserved thier win.
