If Kaj Skager had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Aníbal Alagoano sped through Club Atletico Los Andes's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dochko Rodev. After 37 played minutes Jenipapo SC got a freekick which was hit by Dylan Browne. With his leg David Seaman managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Club Atletico Los Andes's Ermegildo Donzel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Donald Trump hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aníbal Alagoano was the one to do the kick off. Dochko Rodev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aníbal Alagoano in the 65th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Club Atletico Los Andes's Kaj Skager nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. David Seaman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Club Atletico Los Andes's Fabio Peli was substituted for Donald Trump. David Seaman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermegildo Donzel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Dochko Rodev successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. David Seaman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaj Skager in the 96th minute of the match. Jenipapo SC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
