After having played for 5 minutes, Jan Matas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FK Košíře Praha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan Matas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Marek Řípa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Seaman was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Raphael Cunha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Pavel Hanka made a huge save. In the 11th minute Marek Řípa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Seaman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Jenipapo SC defense, Petr Anton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Seaman. The Jenipapo SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Seaman should have stopped the shot. 15 minutes into the match, FK Košíře Praha's Petr Anton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Seaman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 21 minutes, Vinicio Junior managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. David Seaman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marek Řípa in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jiljí Smékal in the 34th minute of play forced Jenipapo SC's goalkeeper David Seaman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the game, FK Košíře Praha's Marek Řípa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. David Seaman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. If Vinicio Junior had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, Jenipapo SC's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Matas came free, but David Seaman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arsenio Gipuzkoa made a great header on Jenipapo SC's corner, it was just that FK Košíře Praha's Pavel Hanka managed to reach the ball for a save. Jenipapo SC's David Seaman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petr Anton in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
David Seaman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petr Anton in the 51st minute of the match. In the 55th minute of the match, Petr Anton tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but David Seaman saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raphael Cunha in the 56th minute of play forced FK Košíře Praha's goalkeeper Pavel Hanka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th match minute, Jenipapo SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Carlos Monteiro to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Jenipapo SC's David Seaman got control of the ball when Marek Řípa tried to sneak it across the goal line. FK Košíře Praha made a substitution. David Seaman made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Miroslav Navrátil sent off a good shot on target. The Jenipapo SC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FK Košíře Praha's performance. The match ended with a win for FK Košíře Praha.
