The supporters of PP Plessydask booed when Club Atletico Los Andes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matias Rivas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kaj Skager might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan Abrahamsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kaj Skager ran back to his position shaking his head. Club Atletico Los Andes's Dochko Rodev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atletico Los Andes from getting a goal against them. Bertil Lundberg struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Dochko Rodev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PP Plessydask. The audience was convinced that Kim Lekberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan Abrahamsson was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. PP Plessydask's Hjalmar Haegg was substituted for Edgar Marques. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Kim Lekberg hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hjalmar Haegg in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dochko Rodev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 56 minutes into the match, Palle Pottenstein had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dochko Rodev. Club Atletico Los Andes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Palle Pottenstein was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Jan Abrahamsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kim Lekberg in the 61st minute of play. Dochko Rodev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Babe Baadegaard in the 63rd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Los Andes's goal looked a bit too open when Babe Baadegaard came free, but Dochko Rodev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
