Deportivo Turro were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Jenipapo SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Qi Sheng Chong took the corner. Deportivo Turro's Qi Sheng Chong was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but David Seaman in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 7 minutes into the match, Deportivo Turro's goal looked a bit too open when Aníbal Alagoano came free, but Germán Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Malcolm Stenman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving David Seaman. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. Malcolm Stenman made in the 12th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ezequiel Nicholas however managed to control. 13 minutes into the game, Aníbal Alagoano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Germán Luz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 17th minute Raphael Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Germán Luz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Turro's Cipriano Urko got a free kick in the 17th minute. Germán Luz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aníbal Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aníbal Alagoano in the 20th minute of play forced Deportivo Turro's goalkeeper Germán Luz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Jenipapo SC's Vinicio Junior nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Germán Luz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Germán Luz came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Jenipapo SC's Aníbal Alagoano. But to his dismay, Aníbal Alagoano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 35 minutes into the match, Jenipapo SC's goalkeeper David Seaman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Malcolm Stenman. After having played for 39 minutes, Malcolm Stenman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Turro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Malcolm Stenman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 43 played minutes Jenipapo SC got a freekick which was hit by Arsenio Gipuzkoa. 47 minutes into the match, Raphael Cunha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Germán Luz. Deportivo Turro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raphael Cunha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Disappointed in the 2-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Malcolm Stenman made a kick off. Raphael Cunha received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Germán Luz came out and tried to block the shot, but Raphael Cunha slotted it home off the left post making it 2-5 in the 61st minute. 66 minutes into the match, Deportivo Turro's goalkeeper Germán Luz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raphael Cunha. A collision led to Jenipapo SC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Raphael Cunha hit a great ball. Raphael Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Germán Luz made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Aníbal Alagoano sent off a good shot on target. Deportivo Turro's Germán Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Junior in the 75th minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Jenipapo SC's Aníbal Alagoano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Germán Luz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-7. David Seaman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Malcolm Stenman went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-7 was the resulting score. Raphael Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Germán Luz having to interfere. In the 90thth minute of the game Aníbal Alagoano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Turro's Germán Luz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With an all-out effort, Jenipapo SC's Germán Luz threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aníbal Alagoano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jenipapo SC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
