The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Angelino Nueva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wu Qi in the 2nd minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Reko-Recko 03™'s goal looked a bit too open when Wu Qi came free, but Angelino Nueva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 12 minutes Reko-Recko 03™'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Allan Bivall who took care of the corner kick. In the 14th minute, Morgan Vassenius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the match, Reko-Recko 03™'s goal looked a bit too open when Wu Qi came free, but Angelino Nueva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angelino Nueva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wu Qi, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 26 minutes into the game, Wu Qi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Angelino Nueva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Angelino Nueva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wu Qi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Reko-Recko 03™'s goal looked a bit too open when Wu Qi came free, but Angelino Nueva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wu Qi took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelino Nueva. Angelino Nueva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 45 minutes into the game, Wu Qi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Angelino Nueva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Reko-Recko 03™'s Cipriano França got a free kick in the 47th minute.

In the 51st minute Wu Qi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Nueva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samurai were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after Reko-Recko 03™'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Allan Bivall took the corner. Samurai's Allan Bivall was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Angelino Nueva in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 56th minute of the game Leandro de Almeida made a throw-in which Cipriano de Toledo played forward. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Virgílio Trigo sped through Samurai's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vince Di Cola. In the 61st minute, Esbjörn Hultstrand ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelino Nueva was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Angelino Nueva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wu Qi in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Allan Bivall got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Reko-Recko 03™ made a substitution. Federico Valverde replaced Glauco Breckenfeld. The Samurai fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Samurai's Wu Qi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A hard shot 83 in the game by Allan Bivall from a close distance when the talented Angelino Nueva managed to make a qualified save. Reko-Recko 03™'s players were relieved. 84 minutes into the match, Samurai's goal looked a bit too open when Virgílio Trigo came free, but Vince Di Cola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Virgílio Trigo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vince Di Cola was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Reko-Recko 03™'s Leandro de Almeida got a free kick in the 95th minute.
