The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Orlandus Torrascasana made in the 3rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Christian Arandoja immediately put the ball in play. Pogoń Szczecin's Sebastião Xoxe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Koller in the 15th minute of play. Deportivo Ortegano's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Norbert Major scored to the left of an out of position Paz Ungo, making the score, 2-1. In the 24th match minute, Pogoń Szczecin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jurand Debowski to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes in the game Orlandus Torrascasana did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Jan Koller. Paz Ungo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norbert Major in the 33rd minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Deportivo Ortegano's goalkeeper Paz Ungo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Norbert Major. A collision led to Deportivo Ortegano getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Paz Ungo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norbert Major, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norbert Major in the 84th minute of play forced Deportivo Ortegano's goalkeeper Paz Ungo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on Pogoń Szczecin's corner Stefanos Stefanopoulos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Paz Ungo quite easily take care of the ball. In the 91st minute Pogoń Szczecin were awarded a corner. Conrado Donzel went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Ortegano's Orlandus Torrascasana got a free kick in the 92nd minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Deportivo Ortegano players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pogoń Szczecin.
