After some careless play in the Holy Cross Mountains defense, Jon-Egil Schjelderup kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guy Davis. The Holy Cross Mountains fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guy Davis should have stopped the shot. 33 minutes into the match, Holy Cross Mountains's goalkeeper Guy Davis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zeng Xu Yuan. In the 67th minute Kalle Billberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guy Davis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Holy Cross Mountains's goal looked a bit too open when Jon-Egil Schjelderup came free, but Guy Davis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
