Ed Delamore scored 4-0 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guy Davis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 43 minutes into the match, Holy Cross Mountains's goalkeeper Guy Davis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adolf Hitman. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adolf Hitman made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Emanuel Stroescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After 51 played minutes Holy Cross Mountains got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Stroescu. Ed Delamore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guy Davis having to interfere. The referee ignored Holy Cross Mountains's protests and gave Peter Steadman a yellow card for diving instead. Guy Davis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 江德邦, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
