The audience thought a goal was coming when Erling Lewandowski got free with Liu Xing Qiang in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The ball had pretty good speed, but Liu Xing Qiang firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 20th minute Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC were awarded a corner. After 22 minutes of play, Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's Francesco Coscia made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rafa Lojewski was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Erwin Jadamowitz in the 26th minute of play forced Go Ahead Eagles's goalkeeper Rafa Lojewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC defense, Erling Lewandowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Liu Xing Qiang. The Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Liu Xing Qiang should have stopped the shot. Augusto Sammartino's late challenge caught a Go Ahead Eagles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Augusto Sammartino helped the player get up and apologised. Augusto Sammartino hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
