Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Aquiles Urtsin got the match started through his kick off. Jonathan Ferrant had great luck who in the 3rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Aquiles Urtsin from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bayan Gugovski having to make a save. Bayan Gugovski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 10th minute of play. The supporters of Merengue FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. In the 22nd minute Aquiles Urtsin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Darwin Núñez got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Merengue FC's Aquiles Urtsin. But to his dismay, Aquiles Urtsin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Darwin Núñez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Ediberto Sampaio tried to sneak it across the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Merengue FC's Bayan Gugovski. Bayan Gugovski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Merengue FC's Aquiles Urtsin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 3-1 after 38 minutes of play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquiles Urtsin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bayan Gugovski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bayan Gugovski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darwin Núñez, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Darwin Núñez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Darwin Núñez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Bayan Gugovski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Darwin Núñez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Merengue FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Darwin Núñez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 67 played minutes Merengue FC got a freekick which was hit by Aquiles Urtsin. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Urtsin in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Ediberto Sampaio notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Merengue FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 86 in the game by Tomas Illescas from a close distance when the talented Bayan Gugovski managed to make a qualified save. Merengue FC's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Ediberto Sampaio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Ediberto Sampaio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquiles Urtsin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Camilo Gaos fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Camilo Gaos a yellow card for diving instead. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ediberto Sampaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Merengue FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
