Wasyl Dziurowicz might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tolek Kiszkiel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wasyl Dziurowicz ran back to his position shaking his head. Rega Merida CF's Konrad Knopek managed to work through Poland's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Konrad Knopek dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Cemal Palabıyık sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Rega Merida CF supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Poland's performance. The match ended with a win for Poland.
