After taking down the ball on Colombia's corner Axel Montenegro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marcus Ekrot quite easily take care of the ball. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Mats Hermansson tried to sneak it across the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonardo Trancoso. In the 10th minute Martin Mutumba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Colombia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Leonardo Trancoso scored to the left of an out of position Pedro Manzanares, making the score, 2-0. Marcus Ekrot didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Axel Montenegro went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Leonardo Trancoso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. After 38th play minutes Leonardo Trancoso shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Pedro Manzanares and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 40th minute of play forced Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Marcus Ekrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.
The wind increased when Abram Sarmiento made the kick off in the second half. In the 56thth minute of the game Axel Montenegro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Abram Sarmiento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcus Ekrot was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. After 83 minutes of play, Vykans Vikingar's Martin Mutumba made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vykans Vikingar fans cheered their team off the field, for while Colombia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
