Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Agustín Saelices managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Agustín Saelices was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Orlondon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 7 minutes into the match, Ettore Varglien dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julio Vera, 1-0. After 13 played minutes PICCOLE PESTI got a freekick which was hit by Secondo Arshavin. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ettore Varglien in the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th match minute, PICCOLE PESTI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Secondo Arshavin to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and PICCOLE PESTI's Miguel Orlondon didn't even have to move. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert got a free kick in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 26th minute of play forced PICCOLE PESTI's goalkeeper Miguel Orlondon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the PICCOLE PESTI defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miguel Orlondon. The PICCOLE PESTI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miguel Orlondon should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ettore Varglien in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ettore Varglien's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. The throw-in from Camilo Gisbert in the 35th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by PICCOLE PESTI's Iliyan Hadzhistefanov. 38 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miguel Orlondon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bernardino Vedillos short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 41 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Zorita charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Zorita the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Bernardino Vedillo made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Ettore Varglien managed to get in a good position for a shot. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. PICCOLE PESTI made a substitution. Per Lidman replaced Ettore Varglien. Per Lidman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miguel Orlondon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. PICCOLE PESTI made a substitution. Angel Berenguer replaced Secondo Arshavin. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Armando Corna made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernardino Vedillo in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The PICCOLE PESTI fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ecuador had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
