Tobias Elizardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Covarrubias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Man Tas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jacobo Nores. The goal made the score 1-0. Jose Sanz made in the 15th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sarmiento de Resistencia's Henning Martinsson. Bogumil Spychalski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Paraguay from getting a goal against them. In the 22nd minute of the match Sarmiento de Resistencia got a corner. Paraguay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bogumil Spychalski ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Sarmiento de Resistencia's corner Bogumil Spychalski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jacobo Nores quite easily take care of the ball. In the 24th minute, Sarmiento de Resistencia's Man Tas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A throw-in in the 36th minute of the game was made by Jose Sanz with Jaime Pardo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Jacobo Nores was a little too slow when Man Tas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 4-0. The audience was convinced that Man Tas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Man Tas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Sarmiento de Resistencia's Alex Herrero was substituted for Man Tas. The wind increased when Alex Herrero made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Alex Herrero made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bogumil Spychalski hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Alex Herrero took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 66th minute Alex Herrero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henning Martinsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Alex Herrero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacobo Nores was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. 73 minutes into the game, Alan Campos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paraguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sarmiento de Resistencia the free kick. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Alan Campos got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Sarmiento de Resistencia made a substitution. Alonzo Peruxu replaced Bogumil Spychalski. In the 75th match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Campos to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Paraguay defense, Alex Herrero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. The Paraguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacobo Nores should have stopped the shot. 84 minutes into the game, Alex Herrero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Francis Sarmiento replaced Henning Martinsson. 88 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Herrero came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paraguay's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
