Quimeras Jrs.'s Aurelio Walme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 11th minute of play. Alejandro Gaspard in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dante Lacasa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Aurelio Walme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Walme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quimeras Jrs.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Joel Gaona made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Quimeras Jrs.'s Aurelio Walme managed to reach the ball for a save. After some careless play in the Quimeras Jrs. defense, Macos Graciani kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aurelio Walme. The Quimeras Jrs. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aurelio Walme should have stopped the shot. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Maiorga, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Quimeras Jrs. were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hasan Tahsin Vefik took the corner. Hasan Tahsin Vefik made a great header on Quimeras Jrs.'s corner, it was just that Mexico's Dante Lacasa managed to reach the ball for a save. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bo Lennartsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
