In the 4th minute Bo Lennartsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo Lennartsson in the 4th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Elias Jordy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Orlando Maiorga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bo Lennartsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elias Jordy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 38th minute, Alberto Tafalla made a precise shot to the right of Elias Jordy. Quimeras Jrs.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 43 played minutes Quimeras Jrs. got a freekick which was hit by Hasan Tahsin Vefik. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Jordy having to interfere. Oscar Labrecque kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Bo Lennartsson made the kick off in the second half. Quimeras Jrs.'s Orlando Maiorga got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Quimeras Jrs. made a substitution. Alejandro Gaspard replaced Bo Lennartsson. The corner ended in Facundo Cadaval almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Quimeras Jrs.'s Elias Jordy did a great save. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Maiorga in the 68th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Elias Jordy threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 72 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Maiorga came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Quimeras Jrs.'s goalkeeper Elias Jordy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Elias Jordy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Maiorga in the 78th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastean Battaglia in the 89th minute of play. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Joel Gaona hit a great ball. Felix Luque kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Facundo Cadaval during the 94th minute. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
