Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kjønstad BF's Erik Grøneng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 4th minute of play. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Raymond Engevik sent off a good shot on target. Kjønstad BF's attentive Joey Célestin managed to snatch the ball when Alonso Berganza made a throw-in in the 6th minute of the game. Erik Grøneng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milagros Fraga in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute Raymond Engevik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Grøneng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wang Fei Xing recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erik Grøneng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milagros Fraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Peru's Eliseo Mina to fire away a dangerous shot which Erik Grøneng despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Peru were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Kjønstad BF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. Alonso Berganza hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julian Murillo to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Erik Grøneng in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raymond Engevik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erik Grøneng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 62nd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Wang Fei Xing came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luz Tejedor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erik Grøneng having to make a save. Kjønstad BF succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Peru had controlled the match.
