Petr Čech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sulo Montaña, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 12 minutes into the game, Batalhão do Peçanha's Pranas Užkuraitis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. George Buturugã made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Petr Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sulo Montaña in the 17th minute of play. Petr Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Özgür Özbay in the 19th minute of the match. George Buturugã made an important save on a dangerous shot by Epaminondas Baba in the 20th minute. With a little luck, LOI's George Buturugã got control of the ball when Pranas Užkuraitis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Petr Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Özgür Özbay in the 30th minute of the match. LOI's Atak Koral was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Petr Čech in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A nice corner shot did that Ahmet Hamdi Ortan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Petr Čech quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 37thth minute of the game Özgür Özbay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Batalhão do Peçanha's Petr Čech was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Pranas Užkuraitis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of George Buturugã. LOI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pranas Užkuraitis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 43rd match minute, Batalhão do Peçanha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carter Leggeri to maneuver through the defense. If Sulo Montaña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sulo Montaña was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Özgür Özbay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LOI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Sulo Montaña recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Petr Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sulo Montaña in the 71st minute of play. In the 71st minute, Sulo Montaña ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Petr Čech was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. The audience was convinced that Pranas Užkuraitis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but George Buturugã was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. George Buturugã stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pranas Užkuraitis's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. LOI's Habib Durukan was substituted for Ahmet Hamdi Ortan. Petr Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sulo Montaña in the 84th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Petr Čech successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The Batalhão do Peçanha supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching LOI's performance. The match ended with a win for LOI.
